"Shaped in Alexandra Headlands in Autumn 1966, this board was the pinnacle of surfboard design at the time. Guys like Russell Hughes, Kevin Platt, Rooster and Grub were working alongside Bob McTavish to create boards that influenced a generation and started the shortboard movement. Above are 3 rare survivors hanging around the McTavish factory in Byron Bay."
