nice job johnny. After day one i'm pretty excited about the possibilities. I think a nice wave at
the other point will really show us the details of the ride. (where's my other pearl diver?)

Thanks! Def a tail player. Still tickled by the cutback sensation. Felt like banking on a roller coaster. Savin that pearl diver. :-)

I have a Jeff Mccallum 5'6 1954 model described by him as a Displacement Hull meets a simmons. It had 4 short bamboo fins(split keel essentially), really pinched rails, belly up to the fins then a very slight single concave, with a vfull outline. It works really well. I have a Liddle and a Hilbers and can say there are more similarities then not with my hulls. Check them out, I really like the board.

ive been messing around with my 5'10 liddle burrito with just the side bites in, alot of fun and a different feel, curious of the fins youve addapted for the board in the video it looks to be a burrito

It is a burrito, not a deluxe. It has a twin fin setup likened to a simmons or a fish. The deluxe sidebites are positioned parallel and further up. The fins in the vid are positioned rear and toed in some..

cheyne, i also have the deluxe in 5'10 and it is my favorite board.
i have a notion to go to 5'8 and
do the fins not so on the tail but more regular fish style.(part of the reason is having to tail ride the hull is not a good feeling and certainly blasphemous
in hulling 101)
