Followup From George

Hi Paul,

I never thought I'd get the level of performance from a "long" board that the 8'8" is giving me. So many longer boards are for perching. I always knew hulls were different, but they are way different. This board has put a level of stoke back into my surfing that I didn't even know was missing. That 14-year-old's thrill of just paddling out and being a real "Surfer".

I'll try the 1/8" back and see. Interesting that it's really close to the suggested 11" that you and Greg and Spencer said to start at. Moving it around has really taught me a lot about the board.

My friend Drew just sent me an email and commented  that he was impressed by my late drops, so I guess I wasn't delusional. At least for a few minutes.  ;0)

Thanks ,
George
