Thanks, Jack for keeping me warm for the last 51 years. Not always your suits, but your technology. That era of "reluctant businessmen" who mostly wanted a way to keep surfing and stay in the surfing world brought an innocence and purity to surfing "business". That was kind of a dirty word, business, being part of the adult establishment. No MBA's, no targeted demographic campaigns, just quality and a positive reputation for honesty allowed them to survive in a small subculture.
