Hi Paul,

Roger Proneman let me try one of his big PGs at Malibu awhile back, and it blew my mind. I told him I needed one and he connected me with the 9’4 PG I’m holding in the photo. It is perfect for me, essentially feeling like an elongated version of the bladed stubbies I normally exclusively ride. I showed it to Tony Masiel and he said it looked like a tongue depressor and imagined it would go very fast.

 

Sharing a clip from Malibu yesterday. I’m unable to adequately express the feeling of riding this thing so I’ll just say WOW. It took a few waves to figure out how to pull out or safely end a ride because once this board locks in, it does not want to stop.

Hope this email finds you well! Huge fan of yourself, your work and Displacementia. 

Thought I’d send through some pictures of my vee bottom shaped by Tristan at Surfin Estate in France. 

Enjoyed some peaky waist high beach break with a friend Sunday morning. Just the two of us. Might be the best thing about surfing in Denmark, the waves are pretty average but often no crowd.
